Two years ago I tried exercising
meditation, ketogenic dieting.
It didn't stick cause I gave up on it.
I would rather die than give up on breadsticks.

But New Year's this year,
I bought a notebook
to conquer my fears and
negative outlook.

Needless to say, it didn't
work out that way
cause I never wrote them down
in the first place.

I have tried all these things and
nothing seems to work.
Why do good things have to be
bad for me, why do bad things have to hurt?
It seems so simple when I
say it like that, but if its really so simple,
I wouldn't feel like crap.
My favorite things are killing me
but I won't accept responsibility.

You said I should step outside myself.
You recommended professional help, well
how's this for you?
I'm flying out to California.
They bundle exorcisms with acupuncture,
it'll only cost me a small fortune.
A small price to pay, or at least
that's what they say.
Recovery time is only a couple of days.
